Welcome to the Piano Playhouse! To ensure that all students are offered the best educational environment possible, please adhere to the following policies and procedures.
Students are encouraged to practice each item on the home assignment at least 5 days/week.Parents, please offer positive encouragement and a quiet environment for your student to accomplish this. On lesson day, due to space and distraction considerations, only enrolled students and one adult are permitted to be in the office area adjacent to the classroom. Please remain with your student in the entrance lobby until the scheduled class time. Take this opportunity to help your student prepare for class: use the restroom, wash hands, get a drink and have materials ready.
Tuition is due on or before the 1st day of each month. Tuition is a fixed monthly fee that, in most circumstances, cannot be altered, regardless of student attendance or class cancellation due to illness, holidays or weather-related issues. Every effort will be made to make-up any lessons missed due to teacher-determined cancellations
. When this is not possible, tuition credit will be offered.
All missed group lessons due to unscheduled teacher absence
, such as illness, will be offered on an alternative day. If a make-up lesson time for a group class due to unscheduled teacher absence
cannot be arranged, tuition credit will be issued. Home assignments will be sent via email for student absence from a group lesson. In the event of repeated student absences due to illness, family obligations or extended vacations, Please make special arrangements via email:firstname.lastname@example.org
Please check text messages and email to confirm the status of classes during times of inclement weather or other emergencies. The Piano Playhouse does not necessarily follow the weather cancellation decisions of the local public schools. Refunds or tuition credit for weather-related cancellations, cancellations due to circumstances beyond the school's control, or cancellations when the student's safety may be at-risk will be offered at Claudia’s discretion.
If it becomes necessary for your family to withdraw from The Piano Playhouse, please call Claudia, 303-909-1902 to schedule a meeting. Following this meeting, if both parties agree on the need for withdrawal, an appropriate refund of tuition fees will be offered.
